Our commitment
Back To Joy is committed to making backtojoitherapy.com usable for the widest possible audience, including people who rely on assistive technology. We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we do
- Semantic HTML, descriptive headings, and meaningful alt text on content images.
- Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, and interactive components.
- Color contrast tuned for readability of body text and controls.
- Full bilingual EN/ES navigation so language is not a barrier.
- Responsive layout across phones, tablets, and desktop.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one-time task. We test with automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers, and we address issues as they surface. Some third-party embeds (for example, scheduling widgets or Google Maps) are outside our direct control; we choose vendors that publish their own accessibility statements.
Session accommodations
If you need specific accommodations for our video sessions — captioning, larger text, a slower pace, sensory adjustments, or something else — please tell Flor at your consultation or any time afterward. We will work with you.
Report a barrier
Ran into something that didn't work for you on this site? Please let us know. Email florvillagran@gmail.com with the page URL and a short description, and we will respond within a reasonable time and prioritize a fix.
